I was driving on the freeway when I saw these beautiful black cockatoos on this banksia. I made a detour to find them and luckily they were still where I’d originally spotted them. I carefully approached them and managed to get some beautiful close up shots. One of my very favourite birds and I love the sculptural effect of the Banksia
